Traveling from Music City to the Lowcountry just got easier!

If you enjoy listening to country music and wearing cowboy boots, a recently announced nonstop service from Savannah may be just what you’re looking for.

Beginning in June, Allegiant Air will offer nonstop flights from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport to Nashville.

The Las-Vegas based airline will offer the seasonal service twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, starting June 8. Select one-way flights purchased before March 8 will cost $45.

“We applaud Allegiant’s decision to include Savannah/Hilton Head as one of the first airports for its new Nashville service,” Stephen Green, chairman of Savannah Airport Commission, said in the news release. “The residents of our region can now enjoy convenient, affordable and quick access to one of the great entertainment destinations in the U.S. At the same time, it will provide direct access to the Savannah/Hilton Head region to the entire Nashville metropolitan area with over 1.7 million residents. This is a big win for our region.”

So far this year, the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport has added three new routes.

In February, low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines announced it would start offering seasonal nonstop flights from Savannah to Denver and Philadelphia.
