A day on the lake begins at Doc's Boathouse. The excitement builds as you walk along the dock under the high roof of the covered boat slips. In the cool of the shade, the water shimmers and shines, bouncing light off the rafters and letting you know this is the place you want to be. From here you can see the fish that gather under the dock. Your boat waits in the slip.

But first a trip inside to see what the Tackle Box has ready for your day on the water. Here you can stock up on sunscreen, lures and bait. The kids can pick out their minnows and crickets or take a tour through Mother Nature's for a preview of the fish you'll be tracking down today.

Doc's is the place for all things boating, whether you arrive in your own boat or rent one of the community's fishing or pleasure boats. Kayaks are also available at Doc's and are a great way to explore the lake.
